As from Monday, 17.10., tickets can be bought in the festival cinemas.

page contains information regarding ticket sales during the festival week and prices.

If you're planning to get in a few films, the 5-Ticket Booklet (5er-Karte) is a great deal.

Festival Passes (Dauerkarten) are no longer available. We suggest 2 5-Ticket Booklets as an alternative.

Ticket sales during the festival week

All available tickets will be on sale at all festival cinemas.

From 30 minutes before the beginning of the session, only tickets for that session will be available.
The box office closes directly after the start of the last film.
Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Metropolis: Mon-Tues from 4pm | Wed-Fri from 5pm | Sat from 12:30pm | Sun from 10:30am

Passage: Mon-Fri from 3pm | Sat-Sun from 12:30pm

Studio: Fri from 5:30pm

B-Movie: Sat from 2:30pm

Opening Night at Kampnagel: Mon from 1pm to 7pm | On Tuesday any last tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We apologize: telephone reservations during the festival are not possible.

Single tickets:
€7.00 (advance sales, not including ticket fees)
€7.50 (festival week)
€6.50 (reduced admission, only on the day of the screening)

Sat/Son – Passage 1 and Metropolis, screenings at 8pm/8.15pm/8.30pm:
€8.00 (advance booking, plus fee)
€8.50 (festival week)
€7.50 (reduced admission, only on the day of the screening)

Opening Night:
€12.00 (advance sales, not including ticket fees)
€14.00 (festival week and remaining tickets from the box office)

Family Film:
€7.00 (advance sales, not including ticket fees)
€7.50 (festival week)
€6.50 (reduced admission, only on the day of the screening)
Children under 14 accompanied by an adult get in FREE.

Closing Film and Matinée:
€8.00 (advance sales, not including ticket fees)
€8.50 (festival week)
€7.50 (reduced admission, only on the day of the screening)

5-Ticket Booklet (5er-Karte):
€30.00 (advance sales, not including ticket fees)
€33.00 (festival week)
Transferable, only one ticket per film possible. Not valid for Opening Night. With an additional charge of €1.00 also valid for the Matinée and the Closing Film, and for the evening screenings on Sat/Sun in Passage 1/Metropolis at 8/8:15pm

Festival Pass (Dauerkarte):
€75.00 (advance sales only, not including ticket fees)
(not valid for Opening Night or sessions at B-Movie. Only available before the festival at the Schanzenstrasse and Lange Reihe locations, limited number, non-transferable, requires a passport photo!)

Online tickets and advance ticket sales are subject to a 10% pre-sales fee, except the Filmtage Counter at TicketKontor Lange Reihe, and an extra €1.00 ticket charge and postage (5-Ticket Booklet is only subject to one fee, once), plus if applicable, licensing and/or service fees.

Reductions for low-earners can be had on the screening day for all screenings in all cinemas.

Tickets are for non-reserved seating. Come early to avoid disappointment!
